virus_pal.exe is a filename that has appeared recently in several infections of a Trojan Horse/Backdoor Virus. It runs in the background and allows remote access to the computer and tries to join a predefined IRC server and channel to participate in DDoS attacks. The visible symptoms are a folder %System%\internet , and a process in the task manager named "virus_pal.exe" This article provides thorough detection and removal instructions based on the threatexpert reports.
